This week has been much better last week in terms of the boys and their behaviour. I think they must have both been over tired last week, and missed the structure that the school routine brings them both. Maybe they just needed to relax a bit. So as it rained at the start of this week. that is al we did. We stayed in a watched films, played and baked. And they seemed better for it.
I have to say with week 2 already completed, I have a feeling this summer break is going to go by too quickly!
Here is what we got up to:
Sunday – a glorious day so we bought a new pool for the boys and spent the whole day in the garden making the most of the good weather.
Monday – Rain. All day. So we had a lazy one watching films, drawing and baking cakes
Tuesday – Rain. Again almost all day. So anOther day at home chilling, but the boys had tennis at 4pm so we managed to squeeze a scoot in en route in between the showers.
Wednesday – Burton went to summer camp at the leisure centre today with his friend, so Jenson and I visited friends in Torrington today and the boys had a scooting down hill competition.
Thursday – The boys set off this morning while the sun was out for a walk around he village and a scoot to the park, and we found lots of interesting items on our trip
Friday – it rained this morning but Burton didn’t feel well. However, after lunch the sun came out and Burton perked up so the boys played in the garden.
Saturday – Jenson attended a birthday party this afternoon where the children made lots of crafts from junk.

Lovely photos! I agree with you – the holidays do seem to be going past really fast. My daughter thinks I’m a terrible mum because we don’t have a paddling pool I do feel rather guilty, but never seem to get round to it!
