So the summer holidays are here already! The first half (or just over) of this year has flown past and I cannot believe that next term Burton will be entering KS2 (juniors) and Jenson will no longer be in reception!
This week saw some very hot weather which is never as much fun when you have to go about your usual everyday life is it? Sat by a pool abroad it is fine though lol!

Sunday – lazy morning playing games and tidying up
Monday – a very hot day and we went to the park after school and we were the only ones there (not that we stayed too long as we were gasping for a drink!)
Tuesday – another hot day so we went to a friends after school for some water play
Wednesday – making the most of the warm sunshine after tea
Thursday – we went to Bideford Park after school with friends to go in the outdoor pool and have a picnic. Then we went aboard a boat for an ice cream
Friday – we went to see the BFG tonight which was fab
Saturday – Daddy caught the boys out with the hose pipe

Yes the hot weather is so much nicer when you can just laze around and dip in the pool when you want. Looks like Jenson has found a sun lounger though.
