Project 366, 2016. Week 22

week 23

I apologise now to anyone who has not had glorious sunny and hot weather this half term – I warn you now, you will probably be cheesed off with my photos this week! We have been so lucky with the weather, it has felt like being on holiday because of the sunshine and hot temperatures.

Here is a look back at our week of May half term:

Sunday – we went to Westward Ho! beach this morning so the boys could go body boarding. The water was cold but they enjoyed it.

Bank Holiday Monday – Daddy was poorly, so the boys and I set off at 10.30am armed with rucksacks, drinks and snacks and went on an adventure. We eventually ended up at Instow via a bus ride and had an ice cream. We covered 10k on our adventure so we were tired by the time we got home.

Tuesday – went to a friends who had bought a new pool – lots of splashing fun!

Wednesday – my Mum came down so we took the boys to Arlington Court. We have never been inside the house before until today, and it was interesting and the boys enjoyed dressing up

Thursday – we went to the pool at Bideford Park with friends for the day

Friday – Lazy morning at home followed by another trip to my friends for an afternoon playing in their pool again.

Saturday – lots of pottering at home, playing outside and having a BBQ. This morning Burton and I walked home from swimming and we stopped off at the playground.

Hope you all had a great half term too x

  1. I don’t think we’ve quite had your weather, but it’s been dry pretty much which is a win in my book. Looks like the boys have been enjoying a proper summer holiday week.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, a virtual cup of tea and slice of cake awaits you x
