Personalised Charm Bracelet (Review)

charm

I do not wear much jewellery. I have a few necklaces and bracelets that I wear on nights out or special occasions, but I am not someone who wears jewellery every day.

However, I do think it is nice to own special pieces that have a meaning. I have a bracelet which my OH and the boys gave me for my 40th, and a watch that my Mum and Step Dad gave me for the same birthday, and a necklace from my best friend all of which were gorgeous presents for such a milestone birthday.  In my jewellery box I have various bits of jewellery that I have received over the years from friends, family and ex boyfriends and they all hold a special meaning and memory, and I like that there is a story behind the things I own and sometimes wear.

So when I was asked if I would like to receive a charm bracelet to review, one which I could customise as well,  I jumped at the chance because I have always thought how lovely they are. I love that a little chain around your wrist can hold little charms that, again, can hold meaning and represent people you love or memories that are special to you.

The Charm Works has a lovely range of charms and bracelets to enable you to build you own bespoke bracelet. I opted for a silver bracelet with a family tree charm, and two hearts that have been personalised especially for me.

I am hoping you can see form the photos, but one heart has the name Burton on

and the other reads Jenson.

Plus each heart has the date of birth of each of my boys too – which is such a lovely thing to have captured on a piece of jewellery.

I really like the little specks of colour on the tree charm too.

What I love about my charm bracelet, asides from the fact that it holds such meaning, is that it is subtle and does not stand out too much on my writs. A simple, understated statement piece that is such a wonderful keepsake, but also looks pretty and will go with anything I wear and can be worn everyday.

The Charm Works will also gift wrap their jewellery, which makes them a beautiful surprise to receive in the post

I was allowed to choose a bracelet for the purpose of a review. All comments made are honest and my own
