So Easter is here and the boys are on their school holidays, having finished school on Wednesday and they do not return until 12th April – which is just under 3 weeks off! That seems a very loooong time. Plus the weather forecast is not looking good which is very disappointing as I had lots of ideas for outdoor fun this holiday!
Fingers crossed, some dry weather will return soon (see bottom of this post for some printable boredom busting Easter themed activities).
Here is a look back on our week in photos:
Sunday – another day another day out and some more face painting
Monday – someone was happy to receive his new jelly shoes
Tuesday – a visit to the park after school
Wednesday – proud Mummy moment as Jenson got another certificate and badge
Thursday – first day of the holidays and the boys were awake at 6.30am, arguing by 8.15am and there were tears an hour later! I took them to the library for some quiet time.
Friday – some tree climbing in the garden this morning
Saturday – a poorly Burton who has a temperature and a cold/cough. I don’t think he will be going on any Easter egg hunts tomorrow (not that the weather looks good for it anyway!).
Wishing you all a happy chocolate eating Easter time. If you need some activities for your children over the holidays, please find attached a printable pack which is aimed at kids 2-8yrs and full of great ideas to keep them busy over the Easter break. The pack contains a range of activities, including colouring fun, yummy chocolate nest recipes and even more egg-citing is the Easter egg hunt and clues.

I was sent the pack from Haven Holidays.

1st days of the holiday were always like that in our house too, over excited children free from structure over night is always a recipe for disaster

Poor poorly boy! Hope he’s feeling a bit better today. Love the facepaint photo and very well done to Jenson on his spellings. Enjoy your Easter holidays!
