Project 366, 2016. Week 2

IMG_0837

I have struggled with photos this week. They are not very exciting and it is no wonder my favourite is from today – a dry day, when we made the most of it and visited the beach at Crow Point. I am pleased that we were able to visit the park after school two days this week too, once the rain went away at last, otherwise I have no idea what else I would have taken a photo of! Need some better ideas for next week!

Here is a look back at our week

Trying some homemade cake

Healthy tea at its best *ahem* pizza, baked beans and ketchup! (it is not always this nutritious lol!)

At last Jenson now has books with words in for homework rather than just pictures!

This book has been making regular appearances at breakfast this week!

A dry day means a trip to the park after school!

The weather has been awful recently hasn’t it. We were so pleased to have a couple of dry, albeit very cold, days. I love the picture of the boys on the rock. Hope you have a lovely week x #project366

  2. Lego books are always popular in this house too. Some of them have been read so many times, it’s a wonder they are still in one piece. Crow Point looks lovely.

  3. That’s a wonderful final photo of the boys.

So funny how schools do books differently. Thankfully we had books with words from the start (for parents to read), now he has boring reading books – dull as anything and he hates them, so I have to try and get him reading other books instead (well, words!)

  4. Nothing wrong with pizza..balances out with healthier choices..:)
The picture of the boys on the beach is great.

  5. Love the colours and the cloud formation in the bottom picture. Nice to get them out to the park for a blow away of cobwebs and a bit of running about after school. I don’t think the odd “healthy” tea does them any harm, and plenty of protein and fibre in the beans.

  6. The photo at Crow Point is beautiful. Why is it that the less healthier meals are the ones that they clear their plates, I think my boys would live on pizza given the chance! We have three different reading books every day, i’m glad the two older ones can read to themselves and I just have to sign their reading records.

  7. It’s foul weather at the moment isn’t it? It really doesn’t lend itself to taking nice photos, or even getting outside. Love the one of them on the rocks, and Jenson reading.

Thanks for linking up to Project 366.
