Well what a week. Only one more week of school left, well they break up on Thursday, and then it will be the Christmas holidays yaaaaay! It does not seem 5 minutes ago that October half term ended!
This week saw us collecting and decorating our Christmas trees, I fooled the boys into eating some Flower Sprout Cake, making it to the park after work because it was dry and warm for once, more Christmas card writing, decorating gingerbread stars, reeking a special invitation and eating a mock Christmas dinner. This week was also a sad one because my (paternal) Na died on Tuesday at the grand age of 92, and the funeral will be next Thursday.

Here is my week in photos:

Love the picture with the Christmas tree 🙂 It looks like you’ve all had a busy week. I was thinks the same as you – it doesn’t seem long since October half-term!

Oh wow, I’ve always wondered how the wrap the trees up! I’d love a real tree but I think my cats would climb it!

Good work on the rope ‘bridge’. I love watching christmas trees being wrapped, although round here, they rarely do it.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Looks like you’ve had a productive festive week. Without wanting to wish time away I simply cannot wait until 3 p.m. on Friday! 😉 x

Aww they are so cute. Look at your boys and your little chef. Those biscuits look fab and what a great week. x

Sorry to read about your Na, that was a good age.
Pulling the Christmas tree reminds me of The Enormous Turnip.
Nice to be getting out to the park in December especially in short trousers and without jackets.

Love the invite to see Santa. It makes it a bit more special doesn’t it?
