I failed to post my round up last weekend, so I am doing a post one week of photos, get another week of photos free this week instead! I have to admit to finding it quite hard taking a photo each day at the moment. I think that with both boys at school, it is proving more difficult to find a photo opportunity of them each day.
Therefore, the photos I am featuring this week are more of a collection of the fortnight rather than one photo each day.
The boys helped Daddy check the tyres on my new car
Jenson is spelling and trying to write words all of the time now – I think he is doing well considering he could only really write his name when he started school 8 weeks ago.
The boys decide to make a start on their Christmas card writing!
A trip to the garden centre to see the Christmas decorations and the train set
Although I have copies of both boys photographed together, we got one of Jenson on his own aswell (as we have one of just Burton in his reception class). he looks very grown up in this photo, I think.
All that writing and spelling out loud has paid of, as Jenson got a certificate in the weekly celebration assembly today 🙂
A walk around Whistland Pound at dusk
Another trip to the garden centre to see the new festive displays
Wearing some eye wear which I was sent in the post
No jazz hands, just jazzy eyes
Another trip to the garden centre (well, it is free!) to see the dancing Father Christmases

Aww I love reading your updates, they always make me smile. Look at Jenson in his class photo, he looks so grown up. Love the big chair and the Christmas decorations are amazing. What a great few weeks and lovely lovely photos xx

Totally agree on the photos being more difficult to take at the moment. I am trying to fit review pics in at weekends and it isn’t always possible. Love the pics at the garden centre. Sounds like Jenson is doing well at school.

The Whistland Pond photo is stunning! Jenson does look grown up in his school photo and well done to him for his certificate! I agree, it is hard to take photos at this time of year, but you seem to have done a very good job!

Well done Jenson on your writing and I cannot believe how grown up Burton looks in his school picture! It looks like you all had a cold but lovely walk out. I hope you have a great week xx #project365

A lovely set of photos. Jenson is doing brilliantly. N can only just write his name without copying (he does have 9 letters in it, his excuse!), and he’s only done phonics since this half term, so he’s a long way behind. They’re only half way through the alphabet, so blending and spelling is a long way off for him.

i too am struggling with the photos for this project, it’s probably because the end is in sight, there are no prizes though for getting through the year

Struggling too! The awful weather isn’t helping. Bernard Matthews makes me think of home! 🙂

Love the Gruffalo hat, laughed at the new “glasses”. Last year our garden centre display (and with it the Santa) was quite dismal in comparison to previous years. Not planning on taking Bob to Santa this year because last year was so bad.
Well done on the certificate, nice when their hard work pays off. The writing is coming along really well.

Some Garden Centres have spectacular Christmas displays.. I’ve been banned as I can’t resist buying something!!
Well done Jenson! Good progress at writing and at school.
