Project 365 2015 , Week 37

Look – signs of autumn are upon us once again. Don’t get me wrong it is my favourite season, but I just feel it is a little early for the colder weather and for the leaves to be changing colour already! Oh well, now that the kids are back too school, all the Christmas stuff will be in the shops next week!!

So we tried to make the most of the first part of the week before Burton had to return to school on Thursday. I still cannot believe that the holidays have ended – it flew past and I was a little sad that it was back to school already!

Still, here is a look back at our week

We went for a bike ride to Whistlandpound on Sunday to blow the cobwebs away – the boys got very muddy!

Strawberry picking – almost didn’t squeeze it in, but we got there in the end!

Conkers – ’nuff said!

  1. Strawberry picking – that’s what we didn’t get around to doing this year. I agree it’s too early for autumn – I’d like a little more summer warmth yet. Hope Burton had a good return to school.

  2. Love the fact your climbing a tree is proper climbing with rope etc. Better than our scramble up the fence alongside the tree at the farm.

The conkers by us are still white inside, and we’ve not got blackberries black yet.

  3. we will need to go conker hunting as well, not be long till it is blackberry picking season.
I am surprised there are still strawberries available to pick.
Tree climbing with a rope is a bit different, not be long till you can get them abseiling with the same principle

  4. Great photo of the boys in the tree.
Hope they had a good sample of the strawberries while they were picking them. 🙂
