What spring like weather we have this week -it has been so lovely to see some warm sunshine, and not even bother with a coat on a couple of days! This has pleased Burton because it has meant me bringing his coat home with me after the school drop off, on a few mornings too!

Burton had to make a puppet for his core project based on a fairy tale character, so we made a gingerbread man one 
Partial Eclipse
We saw the eclipse at school where there were plenty of special glasses to go around 
Twilight Tea
The boys had their tea in the garden as the last of the suns rays shone down on them

Looks like the boys enjoyed the eclipse – wish I’d seen glasses for it, but saw none in the shops. Love the idea of a gingerbread puppet.

I love that your boys love cake making just as much as you do. Z is really getting into it now and even wants to crack eggs constantly.

Loving the photo of Jenson in the bin! I’m loving the sunshine being here. Picnics in the garden are the best.
It’s been so nice to have some sunshine hasn’t it – I love the photo of them enjoying their tea in the garden and the bin looks like a very fun place to be!!
The eclipse was great to see. It has been a funny week, one minute freezing cold then another day lovely. Have to make the most of the good weather x #project365
Almost more decorations than cake!! I bet the boys enjoyed it though!
Our council made the decision to cover all the windows to stop children looking at the eclipse and keep them all in, mad really. Nice to see them getting to see it.
