Project 365 #52

So here are my final photos for my Project 365 of 2014, and it is a bumper edition because it shows 10 days of photos instead of the usual 7 owing to Christmas and tomorrow being the start of Project 365 for 2015!!!!

Looking back over the last 10 days I have to be honest here and admit that I missed a couple of days of photos, I got a bit confused with what day of the week/weekend it was and just did not remember to take a pic every day! Therefore, there are a couple of photos that were taken on the same day (it was Boxing Day that I forgot!) instead to make my 10 photos complete. I dont think it really matters in the grand scheme of things!!!

We enjoyed a wonderful build up to Christmas and a great Christmas Day, the only down side to the entire holiday has been that Daddy has been very unwell and spent most of the time in bed!

Here is a look back on my final chapter of this year’s project 365:

Pirate Party
The boys went to a birthday party at a softplay centre on Sunday afternoonIMG_1797Ho Ho Ho!
We visited Father Christmas this morning and I can honestly say he was the loveliest Father Christmas EVER! We were in chatting to him for almost 10 minutes and he was so kind and spoke to the boys just as you imagine the ‘man’ himself would. It was just brilliant!IMG_1780All That Glitters
I took the boys on a littler road trip before tea tonight through a few towns to see the Christmas lights, and it was such fun! The final house, see above, had a massive display and we stayed for quite a while watching it all.IMG_1799Ice Skating
Today was Lyla’s birthday (cousin), and at lunchtime we were invited to her party which was Frozen ice skating one where Father Christmas, Olaf and Elsa appeared. It was the boys first time skating and only my second so it was funny trying not to fall over, or in Burton’s case trying to stand up!!!skatingall3Christmas Day
Fantastic day and I wish it was happening again tomorrow!!xmas2014we3Gingerbread Biscuit Making
The boys and I enjoyed making and decorating some homemade gingerbread.IMG_1798Master Builder
The boys were keen to spend their Christmas money today, and Burton bought himself some more LEGO movie LEGO.IMG_1801Slippery Paths & A Dog Bite
I took the boys out for a walk so Burton could test ride his new scooter, but it was very muddy and slippery and he fell off a lot (hee hee). However, the trip ended badly when Burton got entangled somehow with a jogger and her Alsatian dog, and Burton got a bite on his hip! A trip to A&E for almost 3 hours resulted in some anti biotics but he was fine and it was only a slight nip luckily!!IMG_1806Jenson The Reindeeer!!
Just messing about with some novelty headwear I was sent as part of a review! jensonvixenBonfire
We took all of our decorations down and the boys and Daddy cremated our trees 🙁IMG_1802Final Trip To The Park Of This Year
After doing some cleaning this morning, I took the boys to the park ths afternoon with the bikes and we also fed the ducks. We stayed until it got dark. A lovely way to spend the final afternoon of 2014, and it was so mild compared to the last few days too.IMG_1805

All that is left is to wish you all a Happy New Year and thank you for following my project again this year xx

  1. The dog bite sounds a bit scary -hope it doesn’t make him too scared of dogs. Some lovely pictures of your Christmas – looks like the boys had a whale of a time.

  2. Its nice when Santa takes the time to really talk, I felt this year we were rushed through, but then it was only a 5 min slot so allowing for in and our it was over too quick.
Oh dear at the dog nip, I guess the dog got a fright as well, glad he is ok.
    The tree pic is great.
So many people seem to be taking their trees and decs down mush earlier than in my childhood days.
Happy new year to you and yours and look forward to seeing the boys grow over 2015.

  3. It’s been lovely following Burton and Jenson’s adventures again this past year. Glad you had a lovely Christmas.
