So that is half term done and dusted – how fast has that week gone!?!?! I feel a little sad actually that our wonderful relaxing week is almost at an end and the return to the school runs and the rushing here there and everywhere will commence again from Monday morning.
Still we have enjoyed a lovely week , and although it seems like we have not done that much having talked to the boys about what we got up just after tea earlier, we actually did more than I realised. They went to Monkey World last weekend, Jenson went to a party, they both went for a sleepover and onesie party at Granma’s, we rode on a train to see my friend Kimberly, we carved pumpkins, we made pumpkin cupcakes and ginegerbread men, we had an eye and spoon race, we went to soft play, we went to a Halloween party and a birthday party and tomorrow we are off to the cinema. So all in all pretty good really!
Goodbye half term you have brought us a lot of fun xx

I hate the end of October half term – it’s always been my favourite break from work! If I didn’t do 365 I would forget what I had done each week! It sounds like you’ve had a lovely week 🙂

What a fabulous week – love your Halloween decorations! We love Monkey World!!

Sounds like a lovely week. Lots of activities close to home or at home – really must do that one holiday rather than the usual hectic dash that school holidays have become.

wow that was a busy week for you. Have to chuckle to myself at clothes with monkeys on, and his toy went with him to the party. Amazing at Halloween that they are out in their t-shirts isnt it, its been so mild.
Love the train pic, so cute

Hello!
I have never looked at a blog before but I came across yours whilst looking for some recipes for my new slow cooker. I have never had one before and recently bought one – what took me so long!!!
Anyway, I loved your post about half term. I have a 4 yr old son who has just started school, so holidays are a new era/concept for me! We too stayed at home at times, went to local pottery painting shop, had a couple of play dates and made some Christmas decorations!
Your blog may give me hints and ideas for lots of things to do with/for him and more cooking ideas – my husband saw the recipe for mushroom and cauliflower soup and said he would eat that without the mushrooms and onions but using different veg (MEN) so that is definitely one I am going to try out soon.
Thank you!
Sue
What a lovely week you’ve had. Love the boys cheeky faces on their train ride. 🙂
