Sometimes when you have had one of those days when you have not planned what to make for tea, a quick trip to the supermarket can give you some inspiration and before you know it you have planned a fun feast for your children! Using some Bernard Matthews dinosuars as my main ingredient, I decided to make Burton and Jenson a Turkey Dinosaur tea: filled with a mash potato volcano with some oozing tomato sauce lava, surrounded by some healthy veggie-tation and some dino footprints made from carrots. Yep this is how my brain works!!
So armed with our goodies, we headed home to prepare tea
The thing I like about Bernard Matthews children’s products nowadays is that I know I am buying products which are derived from British raised turkey meat, and not imported from outside of the UK. Therefore, I am not only buying fun food for my boys to entice them to eat thier tea, but I am buying food sourced from the UK.
So, earlier tonight I got cooking and here is the finished meal:
Quite simply it was very easy to make and took under 25 minutes to cook and prepare – perfect for an after school tea with two hungry boys waiting eagerly to tuck in!
But what did Burton and Jenson make of their Turkey Dino-World Tea?
You can catch their first reactions to their Turkey Dino_World Meal here – apologies my phone screen was set the wrong way hence why you need to turn your head to view this video. I am sorry about that – a true Mummy Mishaps moment!!!
I’m working with BritMums and Bernard Matthews on this project and have been compensated for my time. Check out more quick and easy meals using frozen breaded turkey by following the hashtag #BootifulMeals

My little boy also loved the turkey dinosaurs. Great idea to create a volcano background for the dinosaurs. Seems like your boys had a great time! 🙂 x

I enjoyed reading how you got on. My children love volcanos and dinosaurs. Commenting for myself and on behalf of BritMums and thanking you for taking part.
