Face Painting Flashbacks

We went to a couple of birthday parties last weekend, and at each one was a face painter. Burton was all too happy to have his done, and at the first one he went all out with a ladybird face – all that red and black ink eeeeek! Still, it all comes off in the shower!

Then on Sunday, when both boys attended the same party, they each had really cool eye make up done – although Burton’s did not last that long as he has a tendancy to wipe his face on his sleeve all the time!!!

Anyway, seeing these photos made me look back through my phone/facebook pics/instagram images to find the first face painting that both boys had. It was back in the summer of 2013, just before Burton started school, at his pre school’s summer fete. Burton went for a rainbow across his forehead, and Jenson, wait for it , decided to have a monkey face. However, he got fed up sitting to have it done and so it was unfinished!

Then last October at Charlotte’s 4th birthday party, both boys had the same design and each had a rainbow (they were dressed as pirates as it was a princess and pirate party).

The next face painting moment happened back in July at Burton’s school summer fete and he had…….a rainbow design again!!! Ha ha although it did at least go across his face more this time!

I am actually quite impressed that both boys sit so well to have thier faces painted seeing as though they can be such fidgets!

  1. Loving all the rainbows! Z isn’t too fussed about getting his face painted but miss C loves it. Then she forgets she has it on and rubs it all off with her sleeve too lol. X
