Project 365 #34 (17th-24th August, 2014)

Week four of the holidays has finished and the return to school is edging ever closer now, sadly. Burton’s school uniform has now been bought and tried on to ensure it fits, and now it just needs washing. I am sooooooo not looking forward to the school runs and the mad rush that each morning brings – I like being able to get ready at our leisure , even if we are still up as early as we are during term time!

Still, we have enjoyed another busy week with lots of outdoor fun with friends staying close to home and visiting Arlington Court (National trust), RHS Rosemoor, Westward Ho!, Bideford Park and the park near us.

Here is our week in photos, where we

Played skittles on the decking before it rained

  1. love the wee house, never seen one of them before. Home education saves school runs. I have never managed the art of flying a kite. Kids dont seem to feel the cold so hope they enjoyed the beach.

  2. I always find the sea too cold..kids are fearless though and just seem to run in without thinking about the cold!

  3. Burton is incredibly brave to test that water, did he make it much further than that? Great teamwork from them on making the cakes, I’m off eggs again so The Boy and I haven’t done any baking in far too long.

Thanks for linking up to Project 365, there’s a new one live now.
