A study by one UK hotel chain has found British parents will spend on average nearly £1,500 keeping their children amused during the summer holidays, with over half planning to take UK-based breaks.
Of course, the holidays are quickly followed by the start of a new school year, which can also be an expensive time, especially if you have more than one child off to school or university.
If the combined expenses have meant you’ve needed to take on some extra credit, or perhaps an additional store card, it makes sound sense to check your credit score before applying for this finance.
