Project 365 #28 (6th – 12th July, 2014)

I feel quite exhausted this week, I think it is the muggy weather which I always find tiring , and I am still playing catch up after not getting much sleep Tuesday night thanks to Jenson who spent the night complaining of a sore ear (which was fine by the morning!).

Anyway, here is our week in photos

……oh and I would like to point out that the boys do own more than 2 tee shirts and they were washed inbetween each photo, but thats the trouble when I let them choose their own clothes, they tend to pick what is top of the pile of clean clothes!

Here is what we have got up to:

Sunday I was fed up with the over grown plants in our garden so I got hacking with the garden shears, and Burton rescued a wiggly worm.

Monkey Bingo is a game which has been played a lot this week – here is Jenson being the monkey bingo caller.

Jenson made Burton a birthday card this afternoon – well, when I say card……..

Look at him looking all cute and angellic! Lucky boy this was taken at 7am after a terrible nights sleep where in the end at 4.15am I got him to sleep in my bed! Needless to say we were both a bit grumpy today!

Burton’s first sports day this afternoon – I love the concentration on his face holding the egg and spoon here!

No uniform day for Burton today so after school the pair of them played in the garden and got up to lots of mischief despite their butter wouldn’t melt looks on their faces here!

I have realised that I have only taken one photo today, as I have spent the day cooking, food shopping, washing and tidying up and been too busy to take any pics. Burton discovered a Christmas present that he had not used before (see Grandma it is being used!), a book on dinosaurs with activities in it, so he drew lots of dinosaurs which he then stuck on my bedroom wall!

  1. Mum

Grandma is very pleased to see Burton enjoying his activity book! Love to you all xx

  2. Those early wake up call. I hope mine have long passed! Great concentration with the spoon and A is the same with his tshirt choices! 🙂

  3. love the butter wouldnt melt look…cheeky monkeys….lol.
Stickers are a right royal pain that get everywhere, when I buy them for the kids they get to take them home so I dont get them stuck all over my house.

  4. Butter wouldn’t melt indeed, the little monkeys look like they’ve had great fun this week. Hope Jenson is fully recovered now?

Thanks for linking up to Project 365.

  5. Ha, love the one with them both on the decking. I can just imagine saying ‘ what you up to?’ and the reply being ‘nothing mum’ 🙂

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, a virtual cup of tea and slice of cake awaits you x
