Project 365 #20 (11th-17th May, 2014)

This week has seen the return to normality after our wonderful week away on holiday. The weather has been glorious too which helped!

Here is our week in photos:

The Return Home
The boys enjoying another go on the swings in playground at Parkdean before we had to go home (booooo)

Returning To Pre School
Jenson did not want to go to pre school today and cried before we left. When we arrived he made himself sick 3 times before I left! However, apparently, within minutes of me leaving he was fine and enjoyed himself!

Back to Instow Beach
Jenson and I enjoyed some beach fun playing with the sand, a paddle in the cold sea and collecting sea shells

Do You Like Butter?

Wonders Will Never Cease
For 3 nights in a row this week both boys have eaten all of their dinner and – and – they have actually eaten carrots and some broccoli that have not been hidden in a sauce!! I almost fainted!

Back to Joseph’s House After School
We were invited to one of Burton’s school friend’s house after school for a dip in their paddling pool which was much needed in this heat!

Big Boys
Busy day today, the boys had a birthday party and then we went to a 30th wedding anniversary surprise party. I couldn’t get both boys to look at the camera at the same time – but I cannot get over how much older they both look here. Scary

  1. Kimberly

Gorgeous pics, loving Monkey and the buttercup . . . I reckon he wasn’t a lover of butter!? Fab action shot of Master Burton in the pool. Love your boys

  2. Looks like you’ve had a fun week. Well done boys for eating your veggies! Can you send the sun our way please? I want a pool LOL. x

  3. Oh wow they have grown! Fab shot on the swings and that paddling pool looks fun. Poor we face having to go back to school… We struggled too after our Easter holiday away.

  4. You know my thoughts were how grown up they look too. Aww bless cannot blame Jenson for not wanting to leave you, bless him, glad he was ok though.

  5. They do suddenly seem to have grown – it must be those vegetables!! I can completely understand Jenson’s back to nursery face, I am often like that on a Monday and it is even harder if you have had a lovely week on holiday.

  6. Looks like a great week. I must remember to remind Little Miss about the buttercup thing! As for vegetables – mine are pretty good about them but I think it’s just a case of keep trying. Little Miss ate big bits of peppers twice this weekend whereas previously she would have left them! That beach looks fabulous too!

  7. I’m not surprised they didn’t want to get back to normality after a week at Butlins! Well done to them on finishing their dinners, hope it continues!

  8. What did you do to make them eat all their veg? I could do with some of that magic here. z will pick off anything with come colour on it! 🙂 park Dean looks fantastic!

  9. its nice to go away, but I always like to get back home. Oh dear at the emotional blackmail when going back to pre school, I think this leaves you feeling much worse than them.
We were doing thr buttercup test this week when put and about as well.

  10. Aren’t kids funny – show off before going to school but when they are there they are fine…my youngest boy was the same.
Both the boys are looking so much bigger now!

  11. Love the swings photo, the fact that they’re opposite to each other makes it looks great. Also love the look on Burton’s face as he jumps into the pool, I can imagine the squeals.

Thanks for linking up to Project 365.
