When we visited Butlin’s for the first time as a family it was back in December 2011, when we stayed at the Bognor Regis resort; Burton would have been almost 2 1/2 and Jenson 9 months. It was only for a weekend but it gave us a taster as to how much Butlins has changed since I last went back in 1985, and it was what swayed me to go on and successfully apply to become a Butlin’s Ambassador.
Jenson was too little to much else besides try the soft play in Billy’s Buddies and sleep in his pram, but Burton enjoyed trying out some of the facilities aimed at toddler and tots and he loved it. During our stay he tried the bungee trampoline – at such a young age we were not sure if the staff were going to let him have a go, but they did and Burton had a great time bouncing so high. Look at his little tummy poking out!
Then last year we went to the Minehead resort and Burton had another go, and although we asked Jenson if he would like a go himself, he refused.
Last week we returned to the Bognor resort and someone was all too happy to have another bounce – he looks so big up there now!
However, this time Jenson had his first bungee trampoline experience and he LOVED it and giggled the whole time! And clearly, little tummies poking out is a family trait!!
It made me feel dizzy just watching them!
This post was brought to you as part of Flashback Friday
Remember – a flashback can be from any time whether it be yesterday, last week, last month, last year or yesteryear! It can be a flashback of your own, your children, your partner or your friends.
They look like they are having a blast! Will need to try this with our 2!
They look like they are having so much fun! Love the little bellies sticking out 🙂
Oh look at that happy little face! Is this part of the entertainment or is there an extra charge? I can’t wait to take the boys next month.
