I spy with my little eye
Something beginning with……
S – for stick of course!!
Not just any stick –
but the biggest one you can find
You carry it
You aim it
You throw it
(Taking care not to poke family members in the eye or person of course!)
Splosh into the water it goes!
So big is this special stick
That it will not work for playing Poo Sticks
Because it got wedged by a rock in the stream!!!
But never fear – more sticks can be found of course!!
Looks like a fun, sunny day!

Love this, my sister and I would have done just the same. It’s crazy how fascinated you can get by sticks when you’re little x
Ahhh great pictures!! A stick too big for poo sticks is a very big stick indeed haha!! X
Yay for sticks!
Lol! Nothing better than a big stick!
The fun children can have with a stick and the fascination they hold always amazes me! It did make me laugh how he chose one bigger than he is, thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.
Oh love it what a champion stick to find if Sophie had found this she would have brought it home !!!
Ha ha. Love it!
Goodness, where’s that big stick going with the little boy?! 😉 I love this, it’s like getting a little glimpse of what the future will hold for us. At 14 months my little boy already picks up every little twig, leaf and flower in sight!
We have the same here, what is it with children and sticks!? Although we have never found one quite as large as that one. Good find Burton! 🙂 x
Oh children and their sticks – you cannot believe how many sticks arrive back at our doorsteps and of course EVERY SINGLE ONE is special!!
Finding a stick is vital on all county days out – but that is THE best and biggest stick i have ever seen! Boys got talent 🙂 x
Awesome stick, my lot would be very impressed. In fact we have so many sticks that there is a official stick storage point, outside the front door!
Wow! That is an impressive stick. lol! Looks like he had a great time with it 🙂 Thanks for sharing at the Outdoor Play Party xx
