I have just returned from an amazing weekend away to Bristol with my best friends the highlight of which was seeing Dirty Dancing at the Hippodrome last night! However, upon coming home this afternoon I was greeted by a poorly Jenson who is riddled in chicken pox and appears to have it much more severe that Burton did.
Here is my (late!) week in photos
Rock Jumping!
We took the boys and our bikes to Whistleland Pound
Eat Peach Pear Plum
Burton decided to read the bedtime story to Jenson and I tonight – I love how he can read books to me now!
Fire
Burton’s core project this term was to make a picture of ‘fire’. We chose to make ours from all that natrure has to offer.
Climbing
Jenson can climb the rope nets very easily now all by himself – but he likes me to lift him down
Bike Ride On The School Run
Jenson has enjoyed riding his balance bike to meet Burton from school this week
Cracking Work
Jenson helped me to make some cakes today and I let him crack the eggs for the first time, a job that Burton usually ends up doing!
Cheers!
There were so many photos taken of my weekend away, but this one is lovely as we are all in it and enjoying a taste of the high life – lunch on a river boat sipping bubbly! Never happens in my real life!

Sounds like a very awesome girlie weekend. Hope poor Jenson gets better soon, we haven’t had them yet but I’m dreading them. The fire picture is so good!

great to see them out and about such a lot. Nice for Jenson to get a chance to do things that normally Burton does, and well done on reading the bedtime story

I love the Fire picture. So clever. We haven’t had to do anything for Charles’ school. How lovely of Burton to read for you both too.
I’m glad you had a good weekend, have loved looking at your photos on Instagram, looked like you had a great time.
I hope Jenson gets better soon, poor boy xx
Mummy of Two
Lucky you having a night away, shame you had to come back to a poorly boy – hope he doesn’t suffer too much more. I love Burton’s fire picture, very creative!

Sorry to hear he got the chicken pox so bad…it gets them all differently but better to get it early and done and dusted! Really lovely selection as usual…so many out and about ones. Love the mid air jumping action. Sounds like a fab weekend for you…Cin cin!

The Fire picture is great – very imaginative, and I also love rock jumping. Perfect timing.

Oh my goodness what a week! I hope you had a fabulous time away, sounds like you did and you took lots of photos which is no bad thing! Love the fire photo and the first one is just awesome x

Wahay, great to see you in one of these photographs! Great capture with Burton leaping from the rock, really well caught. You’re ever so brave letting the boys break the eggs, mind you I don’t even do it myself, I get Mr. TBaM to do it.
Thanks for linking up to Project 365.

Glad you enjoyed your trip to Brizzle! There seems to be lot of Chicken pox about at the moment – it doesn’t look like it affected Jenson’s energy level 🙂
Love the fire picture, very creative.
