I am getting a bit fed up with all the wet and very windy weather as it is putting stop to us getting out as much. I dont mind the rain, but it has been soooo windy with it. So most of my pics are indoor ones again!!

Sunday – dry ish day and for the first time in months the boys went on the trampoline – wellies and all as it was wet! Mum and Β my Step Dad came for lunch and we took the boys and Shadow to the park this afternoon for some bike riding and feeding of the ducks.

Monday – had to drop my car off for some welding work as it failed its MOT last Friday, which meant that Jenson and I had a long walk home and back again! After school the boys and I went to set up the playgroup for tomorrow and Burton decided to dress up like a big girl’s blouse lol

Tuesday – Burton brought Elbert the dinosaur home from school with him today who is the class pet. Both boys loved having him home and he was a very well behaved dinsoaur and helped Burton with his homework but did keep him up talking late tonight!!

Wednesday – Jenson and I had to look after Elbert today while Burton was at school, so while my car had its MOT re-test (it passed -yay!) we took him for a hot drink at Costa! After school in Elbert’s honour we had a dinosaur themed tea party and at bathtime the boys wanted dinosaur hair!

Thursday – Our last day with Elbert andΒ Jenson showed him how to play with the playdough this morning – they made quite a mess!! After school we went to Granma’s for tea so Elbert met some more of Burton’s family! Daddy came home tonight so he met the dinosaur too which made Burton very happy! We also had to write up all of his adventures and print out some photos.

Friday – Elbert went back to school with Burton who had a non uniform day. Jenson and I went to playgroup and then this afternoon we attended a PTA meeting. After collecting Burton from school the three of us went to my Mum’s for tea as my Nanny was there as today is her 81st birthday. The boys enjoyed helping to blow out all her candles.

Saturday – swimming this morning and then we went to see Jon’s Gran. Another miserable day weather wise πŸ™ so we popped to the garden centre quickly to visit Jungleland and Jenson cracked me up here with his ‘surprised face’ at seeing some terrapins in the water! Rest of the day was spent at home drawing and playing and now we are watching Tangled before bedtime.

  1. The weather is soooooo miserable isn’t it? I was trying to be clever today and take photos of a tree with an open car door to shield some of the wind off. It then closed on my face. I’m lucky i didn’t get a black eye. Happy Birthday to your Nanny!! Love the cake and all the candles.

  2. how nice of them to help blow out the candles, hope she had a nice day. Trampolining in wellies must be a bit difficult as wellies are usually quite loose.
Oh dear at the Elbert causing trouble and mess. Our class pets were usually hamsters that died during the school holidays when we had them. The playdough looks like very messy fun

  3. Love all your photos as always. The dress & sunglasses made me giggle, the bath one made me smile & the play dough reminded me we haven’t played with ours for a while. We trampoline in wellies sometimes too but garden like a bog & fence fallen down at moment! High winds xxx

  4. I am soo fed up with the endless rain too. I love that bathtime photo and Jenson (I think it’s Jenson – they look so similar! ) looks like he’s floating over the trampoline! I hope your car is all sorted now and I recognise that playdoh set (we no longer have ours thankfully – blooming stuff gets everywhere!)

  5. The trampoline picture is great – hurrah for wellies!
Love the picture of the boys helping nanny blow out her birthday candles too.
Despite all the rain, another lovely set of pics πŸ™‚ x

  6. Love the birthday cake picture, so sweet. And Tangled is one of our favourite films as well. The weather is just so rubbish isn’t it? It is really starting to get me down, I cannot wait for it to be Spring! x

  7. Oh wow Jenny absolutely love the trampoline shot. The dressing up and funny face photos are just brilliant too, what great timing! Sounds like Elbert had some fun. We love Tangled as well, brilliant film πŸ™‚

  8. The weather is depressing…and cant have been easy having your car fail its MOT, so glad its passed now!!
Absolutely love that surprised look!! Made me smile too!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, a virtual cup of tea and slice of cake awaits you x
