Project 356 #8 – The Half Term Edition (16th-22nd February, 2014)

This week with poorly boys at the start of it …well  actually them being out of sorts all week really, my plans for half term did not quite go to plan but we had fun nonetheless and it was just fantastic not having to rushing around for the school run each day! The week has flown by far too quickly though, and I am already dreading the back to school wake up alarm Monday morning!

Our half term week mostly consisted off lots of crafty activities, some soft play, a trip to the beach and our nearby National Trust property and meeting up with friends. And lots of snotty tissues, chesty and tickly coughs and red cheeks from the colds that Burton and Jenson have!

Anyway, here is our week in photos:

  1. Love how you’ve trained the boys to wash up, I must work on that. Glad you’ve enjoyed the week despite the bugs. I’m not looking forward to the alarm next week 🙁

  2. Sorry the boys were poorly at the start of the week. Sounds like you made up for it though with everything you’ve been doing – your post made me smile a lot! I adore that first photo – fabulous blue sky and so crisp. I’m amazed you take your photos on a mobile, mine just aren’t sharp enough (it seems anyway!) x

  3. Looks like you kept them busy despite the poorliness. I am also impressed at the washing up – I feel I should let (or make) the girls do it but fear I would have to do it again and clear up after them! My fave is the beach photo though and I also love the boys sitting on those things (what are they?!) at Arlington Court.

  4. Hope the boys are on the mend now. It’s nice to slow the pace down a bit sometimes. We had a couple of quieter days this week before going all hectic again. Great picture of the boys at Arlington Court and I love the look of concentration on their faces while they wash up.

  5. Gosh Jenny it looks like you have had another super busy week again!

I so love the boy’s onsies i am looking to get Joshua one for his birthday x

    Have a super week x

  6. Sorry everyone has been out of sorts. Looks like you did lots of lovely things regardless though. Love the beach picture and the hero mask making!
With you on the no wake-up calls this week, been so nice just having relaxed mornings. Little miss isn’t back til Tuesday so I have one day of no alarm left! x

  7. A very busy half term…love all the craft making. My wee man’s favourite thing to do is the washing up after painting or baking…turns into an activity all of it’s own! We are fighting a bug with the wee man at the minute…yuck.

  8. good grief the tide looks very far out. Love the shadows on the building robots picture. Like to see kids learning to wash up, even if it causes more mess. I use to love the double sinks, made it dead easy to bath 2 kids at once

  9. Awww hope you are all feeling better now…. Looks like you still managed to have a fun filled week though!! Love the beach picture. I had that feeling of dread too for having to wake up on Monday morning!

  10. I think you’ve done really well to keep the boys as amused as they have been considering they’ve been so poorly, I hate it when pans don’t go right. Love the one of the three boys on the beach, as you said on my post it’s reliable at all times of year, isn’t it?

Thanks for linking up to Project 365.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, a virtual cup of tea and slice of cake awaits you x
