Sunday – the boys inissted that 5.15am was get out of bed time today and no amount of me telling them it was not worked! So by 6am we were downstairs with the TV on!!! At lunchtime Burton attended a pizza making party at Pizza Express, and while he was upstairs, Jenson and I ate some lunch downstairs in the resturant. Afterwards, we walked to the park and had lots of fun feeding the ducks, climbing walls, finding sticks and going to the playground. We arrived home just as it got dark for tea and both boys were in bed and asleep by 6.15pm!

Monday – while Burton was at school Jenson and I went to playgroup and for a walk into town. It makes me laugh what Jenson likes to take on the school run when we go to collect Burton – today was his toy biscuits!

Tuesday – Jenson and I found some puddles in a car park today and of course he had to wade in and have a splash about! A change of trousers was required when we got home! It was so cold today that I popped to town to get us all some new hats and gloves – well Jenson does not need a new hat as he still has some that fit him from last year.

Wednesday – what a wet and windy day today was! We went to the soft play this morning and on the way home we popped into Costa for a bite to eat and i tried a caramel latte which while delicious did not taste salty!

Thursday – it was a lovely sunny and warmish day today compared to yesterday, so I took Jenson to the park for a bike ride and a trip to the playground, and of course a big pile of leaves could not go unnoticed! Daddy arrived home tonight in time for the boys bedtime so they were happy to see him again.

Friday – a day spent doing boring jobs like cleaning (booo) but i did make Dalek Cake as Lakeland sent me a mould to review, which was fun. After school as it was dry we popped to the park near the school – and trying to get Burton to keep his coat on was impossible!!! Then we collected daddy and visited Granma for tea

Saturday – swimming this morning and as I am not allowed to take a photo of Burton doing what he loves , here he is waiting to be called for his lesson. The rest of the day was spent mostly at home playing, drawing, food shopping and helping me to prep the fruit for tomorrows #stiritupsunday for the Chirstmas puds!!

  1. Love jensons hat, so cute. Lots of gorgeous photos again this week. That leaf one is very sweet. Would love more photos of the girls swimming too xx

  2. Look at him in that hat!! He looks so cute and he is really looking grown up now. It is nice that Burton enjoys swimming so much, mine all love it and are much better swimmers than me

  3. Always so much outdoor fun Jenny. No wonder your boys always look so healthy. None of mine would wear a coat today, I have long since given up trying!

  4. kids dont seem to feel the cold in the same way we do. Autumn leaves are a great source of amusement, love the way the wind seems to have caught them. We have been cold here all week but mainly dry

  5. It’s difficult isn’t it with swimming photos. I’ve taken a few in his costume beforehand, but can’t get any in the water because of the other kids. Jenson seems to be enjoying the puddles and leaves.

  6. I did a post about kids and not wanting to wear coats, I seem to have a daily battle with the girls about their coats!
That latte looks delicious….it’s my favourite coffee flavour!

  7. I absolutely adore that photo of Jenson throwing the leaves, such effort on his little face. I find many things which are supposed to be salted caramel fail massively at being just that!

Thanks for linking up to Project 365.

  8. That hat is sooooo cute and I love the teddy that goes with it. Costa is one of the greatest places to be when it’s cold. I love a hot chocolate with a piece of cake

  9. Seems a shame that you can’t take pics of him while swimming. I love the leaf pic too…

Haven’t been to Costa in ages!! Getting tempted now
