Sunday – before the wet weather set in I took the boys out while Daddy watched the F1. We only popped out for a quick walk to allow the boys a chance to splash in some puddles.
Monday – how nice not to have to rush around this morning for the school run! I think I stayed in my pj’s until almost 9.30am! The boys and I did some baking this morning as the weather outside was wet and very windy! We tried our hands at pretzels which was not only good fun but they tasted good for lunch too.
Tuesday – we were away early this morning to Yeo Valley for a bloggers day with the National Trust which was good fun. Lots of fresh air, exploring and discovering and hunting took place and then some art fun wiht pumpkins! A fun day and a sunny one too.
Wednesday – we went to soft play this morning and then after lunch we popped to the park to feed the ducks.
Thursday – the boys decorated some squash this morning – I tried to get some pumpkins first thing but they were sold out! Still, these little squash are an idea size for little hands.
Friday – I took the boys to Westward Ho! this morning and no joke, but within 2 moinutes of stepping on to the beach Jenson fell into a deep pool of sea water and then about 5 minutes later Burton did the exact same thing! Still, even with se water swirling around inside their wellington boots it did not deter them from enjoying the beach and the rock pools! Great fun and not too cold either.
Saturday – swimming this first thing this morning and then afterwards we visited Granma and Grampy. On the way home I called in to on eof he DIY stores and the boys had great fun looking at all the Christmas decorations, trees, lights and battery operated annoying festive all singing and all dancing toys! Tonight I am meant to be attending a 40th birthday party but looking at the VERY windy weather outside right now, I am not fancying the journey home lol!

I bet it was lovely to have both boys at home this week. That sounds like the sort of thing mine would do at the beach. Another Christmas photo, are you trying to tell us something?
Debbie
That puddle jump is fantastic!!
Love your pumpkins- such a great way to get the boys involved and the colour never fails to cheer.

we have taken a passion in this house to the wee harlequin pumpkins, they are so easy to cut up and roasted in the oven are delicious. I love the face on the roll of sillage but more so Burton’s “ta da” face

Christmas displays already?! Nooooo! (Although secretly I can’t wait!) Great to see them getting out and about, can’t believe they both fell in the rockpools though.
Thanks for linking up to Project 365.
