That looks great, we were only saying the other day how we’ll have to show the kids pictures of proper autumn leaves as they won’t know what they look like! I bet Leo would have loved running through all those.

  2. Jenny I love this post, the boys look so happy and carefree in those leaves and they really seam to share their adventures together which must be wonderful for you to watch. Wow to the leaf art, such a simple idea but so effective. We will have to give it a go as they are falling thick and fast here on the farm. Thank you for linking up to my 1st birthday edition and for supporting the linky throughout the year.

  3. I love autumn too Jenny, in fact I wrote a similar post yesterday, albeit without the leaf art as you know I am not the most crafty! 😉 The boys look so happy and you made some lovely creations. xx

Do you get any signs of autumn over there? I suppose as its so mild all year round maybe you don’t? X

It’s just wonderful isn’t it so pretty and a great season for nature treasure hunting x

It so does. You find so many little treasures of nature. Spring is similar but I prefer the colours of autumn x

  7. What a fun day! I love Autumn for the colours too and dry leaves crunching under your feet. Soggy leaves are no fun; I’ve almost fallen on my bum a few times!

Fab stuff, I love Autumn also, great colours and amazing light (when not raining) 🙂 x

  9. I think I need to get an Autumn treasure collecting basket like yours, although Lucas mostly enjoys sitting in the leaves. Looks like a lot of fun and the leaf art has come out really well x

thanks it really was especially as it was dry too! My mum should take the credit for the owl art – i never realised how arty crafty she was! x

  11. Wonderful! Such a prefect Autumn day. We do love going for walks and colling “things”. Love your final piece of art. Beautiful (and funnily enough did one last week too… though not live yet on blog!).

Thanks for sharing on Kids Get Crafty!

Am LOVING the monkey bag – where is that from??
I think your leaf collecting basket is much more impressive than our carrier bags.
Great art – still need to use our leaves.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, a virtual cup of tea and slice of cake awaits you x
