Do you?
I do and I am not afraid to say it!
I know that many of you enjoy baking cakes, aswell as eating them, and in recognition of this I thought I would launch a new monthly feature called
I Love Cake.
Once a month I will choose a theme (am open to suggestions if you have a good one), for example, December will be a Christmas theme. Then all you need to do is to make your cake of choice and then come back to my blog and link it up, to include the recipe, how you made it and any photos you took. I appreciate you are all busy so if you haven’t had time to make the cake that month but have one you have posted before on your blog, then please link that one up instead.
To kickstart I Love Cake and to co-incide with it being National Cupcake Week from 12th-19th September, the first theme is CupCakes. However, this first I Love Cake feature is a special one as I am making it into a competition! The very culinary skilled and talented Nick from My Daddy Cooks will be judging this cupcake challenge and will be awarding the winners a signed copy of his fabulous book.
The competition is open to anyone of any age and gender and will be split into 2 categories:
1). Kids (up to age of 16)
2). Grown Ups (aged 17 and over)
The CupCake challenge will start THIS Saturday 10th September and will finish on Saturday 24th September giving you plenty of time to enter. The winners will be announced soon after.
Remember any recipe can be included – new, old, original, tried and tested, new and wacky, never been posted, already been posted – as long as it’s a Cupcake then anything goes!
Good Luck and remember to link back up by by the end of Saturday 24th and to add my I Love Cake badge to your post, which will be available to grab from Mummy Mishaps on Saturday.
Thank you xx
Rachel
