Awww Jenny, don’t be ashamed of your backyard, am sure you have more important things to concentrate on NOW, and one day you will have plenty of time to dig out that weeds 😉 @Kahanka

  2. It reminds me of the ones at our house when we moved in, they grew to about my head house, and I spent YEARS pulling them out… You have made me smile this morning 🙂

  3. oh my gosh! what an ugly plant – but it does look like it’s heading for the sky – Ah flip! wouldn’t it be great if you found the giants gold? (is that what happens in the story?)

  4. I hate gardening too but I am determined to sort mine out this year!  That looks very similar to what is in mine!! xx

  5. If you are going to let it grow, don’t let it go to seed. I left one in my front garden because I thought it looked ‘interesting’ and now I can’t get rid of its offspring!

Indeed that is some weed! It grows with speed even with no feed because it has no need but it will seed and get you more weed…..xoxo

I hope you find an egg! At least your garden allows things to grow. You are a superb weed grower! x

  8. I think you should definitely leave it and see how tall it grows!

p.s. I’m glad you have the same mentality as me and sniggered at the back yard theme 😉

    xx

  9. It is a Triffid methinks!
I was in your position not too long ago with a poor yard but know I have a lovely one and 1 acre to boot to look after.  Times do change for the better.

  10. You will get that garden.  Just send a message out to the universe that you need one.  I like the drama of your triffid though!
I have gone from no outside space at all to over 1 acre so it can happen

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, a virtual cup of tea and slice of cake awaits you x
