Simple Pleasure 1
My first little indulgence has to be a drink and a slice of cake, especially if I am lucky enough to visit a coffee shop and treat myself. I don’t get to do it too often but when I do it’s just simple pleasure I enjoy :0 nom nom nom!
Such a shame that especially for Tara and The Gallery I had to make a special trip for such a simple pleasure today!!
Simple Pleasure 2
My other simple pleasure has to be Burton – of course! Whether that be one of his cheeky smiles, a sloppy (sometimes snotty!) kiss, a cuddle from him where he squeezes me, watching him swim, pull a funny face whatever really because apart from his whingey moments, I get pleasure from him everyday.
Take tonight for example, with Daddy away for the night I was in charge of bath time and bedtime and he was a proper cheeky monkey (you may have seen my tweets on this at the time), but he was laughing so much it was infectious and as much as I was telling him off I was laughing too! I got wet, the floor was wee-ed on, he had the giggles while I dried him, he wore a nappy as a hat, ‘dressed’ Penguin for bed and played hide and seek! Such a pleasure for Mummy to see 🙂
Of course a simple pleasure number 3 is when he has gone to bed to sleep, and I get to put my feet up!
