  1. First of all, you are not doing rubbish!!! Any effort counts and I know it’s much more difficult when you have to look after the little ones. I am currently on holiday, my mum looking after Isabelle all the time, so have loads of time to do exercises. it will be much more difficult once I get back to reality. I suggest you continue doing the sit ups, etc every day, if you forget, don’t worry, do them the following day. I started running 6 months ago, and was mostly power walking first, and then slowly change it to running. It will not happen overnight, you just have to believe it will happen, and you will see, in a few weeks time we will laugh about it!

  2. Dont worry sweetie my mojo is somewhere in timbucktoo right now! Having been struck down by that bug last weekend I still havent found the energy to get running again so your not alone! 😀 x

  3. Don’t get down about it! You’re not going to train for a 5K from scratch in a week, however much you do that week. You need to be consistent & just keep picking up that mojo & trying again! Don’t get disheartened when a session doesn’t go so well, or if you miss a couple of days, just start again as soon as you can. Check out my website for traingn videos & advice, & keep trying. remember, every time you DO do something, you’re fitter than you were before 🙂

  4. I am really late on reading this post – and I’m sure you are feeling better by now!! Thanks so much for your comments at mine..honestly, we all can do this. I feel crap all the time, I run slow and I’m carrying like 20 extra pounds on me that I want to get rid of. I am just excited to meet you and the other runners. Actually knowing that we are all going to meet is what gets me out there. If I were doing it alone I would probably just stay on twitter that much longer. hahaha! Have a good week, and try for one walk/run. Maria xx
