Project 365 #27 (29th JUne – 5th July, 2014)

How can it be July already? Burton will be 5 in 2 weeks and then the school year will be finished, and my bog boy will have completed his first year at big school already!! How on earth did that happen?

Anyway, back to this week and Burton ended up being off school from Wednesday onwards due to a poorly tummy (aka, upset tummy/stomach bug), so it felt a bit like the school holidays having him home from school. He is feeling much better now though 🙂

Here is our week in photos:

a spot of tree climbing while out on the bikes

after school we met a friend and her daughter at the park and the boys wanted to faster and faster on this roundabout!

a spot of painting at playgroup today – Jenson made a toilet roll monkey (what a surprise!)

we have been sent some personalised items to review, and Jenson got some new pj’s and happily posed for me!

Jenson had his first sports day at pre school this afternoon and Burton and I went along to watch. Here is is having a helping hand during the sack race

Burton came to playgroup with us this morning and he painted a toilet roll bunny. He LOVED being able to come to playgroup with us!

It was the school fete today which I helped at, and luckily the sun shone despite the heavy rain first thing this morning! Jenson won this game by entering a raffle, and I don’t think he quite understood how he won it!

  1. Lot of messy painting going on. H loved going back to his old playgroup after he’d left. Jenson did well in the raffle though didn’t he?

  2. well done on the raffle prize, hope you enjoy playing the game. Cant believe that in England they start school at 4, and are not 5 till the end of the first year, thats far to young.
A monkey is a s good as anything to make and paint, but typical of him.

  3. Loving all the painting here. And I really wish our park had a roundabout with seats – Harry scares the life out of me by just letting go

  4. That’s a really nice photo of Jenson painting – he looks absolutely engrossed, he’d probably forgotten you were pointing a camera at him. 🙂

  5. I love the bemused look on Jenson’s face with the raffle prize, and he looks really pleased with his pyjamas. Hope Burton is beginning to feel a bit better?

Thanks for linking up to Project 365.

  6. Love Jenson’s expressIon in the last photo, very puzzled 🙂 Looks like they are having lots of fun at the park and the photos of them both enjoying painting at playgroup are brilliant x

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, a virtual cup of tea and slice of cake awaits you x
