This week for The Gallery Tara has asked us to go out and photograph the wonderful COLOURS that are on display at this time of year.
As I have mentioned before I love autumn and all it’s gorgeous rustic colours. However, with the recent heatwave, it’s like the colours have been more vibrant and summery again rather than rustic. I found it odd to be out walking in my Birkenstocks again, while stepping amongst the piles of fallen leaves.
Anyway, the gorgeous weather allowed me to look at my surroundings with a new vigour especially as though the last few days was ….well….summer I guess! While walking the three mile trek to my OH’s parents, I came across these flowers which grow along the lane at this time of year every year. Plus being red, my favourite colour, what better shot to use.

Don’t forget to see what colours other people have photographed here
Thank you xx
