Ingredients
  • 1 jar of chocolate spread - your choice of brand and flavour but I used chocolate and hazelnut
  • 2 eggs
  • 100g self raising flour
  • 200g low fat cream cheese
  • 25g icing sugar
  • 1 tube Dr Oetekar Red Liquid Gel Food Colouring
  • edible hearts or similar for decoration
Instructions
  1. Pre heat the oven to 180oC / 160oC (fan)
  2. Grease and line a 8 x 8 inch baking tin - I used a square one
  3. Place the chocolate spread, eggs, flour and food colouring into the bowl of a free standing mixer (or in a bowl and use an electric whisk/wooden spoon) and mix on a slow speed ot begin with so that the flour does not fly out, increasing the speed and mix until all the ingredients are combined
  4. Place this into the baking tin and smooth over
  5. Place the icing sugar and cream cheese into bowl and beat together
  6. Drizzle over the top of the brownie and then using a cocktail stick or similar, swirl the cream cheese mixture into the top of the brownie to make swirl patterns
  7. sprinkle the edible pink hearts over the top
  8. Place in the oven and cook for about 15 minutes
  9. Remove and allow to cool completely before removing from the tin and then cut into squares
