Toffee Apple Danish Pastries

- 1 x kg of Danish pastry (or 1kg of bought puff pastry) I used Paul Hollywood's recipe - you can find a link to it below this box
- 1 x jar of toffee apple curd
- 2 eating apples, thinly sliced
- 1 egg, beaten
- Preheat the oven to 180°c.
- Line 3 baking trays with baking paper
- Roll out the pastry dough and cut into 18 squares.
- Add a tsp of the curd to the centre of each pastry square and then top with 2 apple slices
- From each corner, cut about halfway to the centre using a sharp knife, leaving enough space for the filling.
- Fold each corner into the centre
- Brush a little egg wash over each of the pastries.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
- Leave to cool and then tuck in
