Low Sugar Berry Flapjacks

Ingredients
  • 115g unsalted butter
  • 100g crushed Weetabix (approx 3 biscuits)
  • 100g oats
  • 2 dsp golden syrup
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • 50g blueberries
  • 50g raspberries
Instructions
  1. Pre heat the oven to 160C /140C (fan)
  2. Grease and line a loaf tin (I like my flapjacks thick)
  3. Place the butter and golden syrup in a pan and put on a low heat and melt together
  4. Place all of the dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl
  5. Pour over the butter and syrup and stir well
  6. Stir in the blueberries and raspberries carefully
  7. Pour into your prepared tin and smooth over the top
  8. Place inside the oven and bake for approx 25 minutes until golden on top
  9. Leave in the tin for 30 minutes to cool before removing and allow to coll completely before cutting into squares
