With the end of term fast approaching now, this week has been busy preparing for Burton’s 8th birthday which took place on Saturday. With lovely weather all week, it was such a shame that his birthday was filled with so much rain! Still, it did not dampen his day.
Here is a look back any our week
Sunday – I suffered a massive hang over this morning after my brilliant night out last night at my friend’s 40th birthday party. This afternoon Burton went to a birthday party (I felt better by then!) and afterwards him and Jenson enjoyed playing in a nearby park.
Monday – a quick walk before school
Tuesday – needed to wake Burton up this morning as he over slept.

An after school pool play date at a friends
Friday – I needed to make Burton his birthday cake and this is what I created for him (rainbow sponge inside)
Saturday – Burton spent his birthday at a local wake park and after trying wake boarding for the first time, he then enjoyed an inflatable obstacle course with Jenson, Daddy and a friend from school
Looks like a great week and I just love Burton’s cake. Looks like they have some fab friends and love the pool. The kids look so sweet when they are sleeping, don’t they? x
