Project 365, 2016. Week 26

Welcome to another week of what we got up to. This week has been busy owing to the fact that Friday was our school summer fete, and usually it takes place on a Saturday but this year, at the request of the head teacher, we held it after school on a Friday instead (which was welcomed with mixed reactions from parents and locals to the school!). Therefore, I was busy baking cakes and shopping for it, and hoping for sunshine (it rained but by the time of the fete is was mostly light drizzle)!

Asides from fete prep, here is what our week looked like in photos:

Trying out a present from Father Christmas (at last!) and trying not to fall over!

Happy 1st birthday to Copper dog – he knows he is not allowed on the seats!

Trip to the park after school

Burton went to a work shop today with the school choir

The boys are entering the bake off competition ay the fete – here are their brilliant cakes. Burton’s is a swimming pool and Jenson’s a rainbow cake (based on the one I did him for hoods birthday). Apart from help with the baking and putting the buttercream on the cakes, they did the rest. (they did not win though)

The cakes are amazing! Well done to them! The school fete sounds like a lot of hard work.

  2. Those are some fabulous cakes. They clearly take after their mummy. I can’t believe how big Copper is getting too. Great photos of the boys and well done to them x

    • Thank you Elaine – glad you noticed the jellyman/woman on the dining board – it fell off by time it got to the fete! Ha ha and yes – they can rarely sit together without some kind of messing about x

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, a virtual cup of tea and slice of cake awaits you x
