  1. oh what a lovely flavour combination. This is the sort of cake I love. Seriously yum! Only tweak i would make is to toast the almonds on top but that is because i just love toasted almonds.

    • toasted almonds would have been a good addition – it never occurred to me! I will bear that in mind though, for a future cake . thank you for commenting x

  3. What a lovely cake! I always seem to have an abundance of flaked almonds in my house…I keep buying bags for new recipes and then discovering I already had a half a bag (or three) from the last recipe, so this would be a good way of using them up – love the idea of using peaches in a cake too!
