Love the idea of adding oregano to your dough. Perfect picnic food! x

  2. These sound great Jenny – perfect picnic fare. I don’t understand how anyone couldn’t like pastry! But my daughter used to pick it all off a sausage roll and just eat the sausage.

    • Thank you Louise – I was just pleased my boys actually enjoyed eating them! Going to make some for their packed lunches next week x

  3. Firstly I want that Picnic Hamper ,but meantime those sausage pizza rolls look delicious so I might just have to settle for making a batch of them and enjoying those instead

  4. Great picnic tips – I totally agree with you that a picnic bag is a really good investment. We have a rucksack one, which is great for taking on long walks (though not nearly as pretty as yours!) – I love how much kit it comes with, including a rug and the whole of the main compartment is like a cool bag, so perfect if it’s going to be sitting in a hot car for a while. Your pinwheels look yum – a great alternative to sausage rolls! And yes totally agree about taking wipes (how did we ever cope without wipes, before children???) Thanks for linking up to #CookBlogShare! Eb x

  5. My daughter has been begging me to bake pinwheels for ages. These look fantastic and I will definitely give them a go. Love the addition of herbs x.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, a virtual cup of tea and slice of cake awaits you x
