We have had some beautiful weather this last week and it has felt like summer might be here ……for a short while at least!
To be honest I have not taken a photo every day this week, so my compilation is a summary of what we did this week overall instead. This week looked a bit like this:
Last Sunday we visited Instow beach in the afternoon to see if Copper would behave off the lead and enjoy swimming in the sea. He loved going in the water and stayed off the lead for a while – even if that did meaning saying hello to every single dog on the beach!
Jenson helped me with tuck shop at school and here he is using the coin counting machine
While Burton was at a before school sport club, Jenson and I walked the dog in some fields near the school.
Burton and his class held an assembly this week an the theme was about healthy food and also about the book The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch , and here he is playing the lead character.
Gorgeous day on Saturday – so we ate our lunch al fresco under the (much needed!) shade of a tree.
Saturday night – I went to a wedding evening party, so the boys , their daddy and the dog went camping on Dartmoor. I cannot take credit for this photos but I love it, so I am using it.

Love that photo of the boys silhouetted and the one of Copper in the water. Well done to Burton for playing the lead in his assembly!

I love that photo of the boys silhouette. Copper is getting so big. Such a cutie and way to go Burton, what a wee star xx

Love that loast shot. Monkey’s been reading that book at school too as part of this term’s topic. The money sorting machine sounds interesting #365

Great rock top picture. Hope they had a nice time camping.
Sadly this is what causes us problems, people’s dogs want to be friendly and they come over to say hello as they have never met an unfriendly dog and Lilly goes nuts at them and you pull her away as quick as possible and hope the dog gets the hint.

I don’t blame you for doing more of a summary of the week – it’s pretty much what I do every week anyway. I do like the picture of the boys silhouetted on the rock. Yay to summer!
