Project 365, 2017. Week 23

Back to school this week and with it some unsettled weather. Still, better to return to school on a wet day then a gloriously hot and sunny one, when you wish you could go to the beach instead!

So this week hasn’t been ever so exciting, but here is a look back in photos:

Sunday – we visited my Mum and Step Dad this morning for breakfast as we spent the night before in the van near where they live. This afternoon the sun came out so we spent some time in the garden.

Monday – wet morning so wasn’t much fun taking the dog for a quick walk before school

Tuesday – you might recall that before half term Burton and Oli made a cake  for their school project? Well today I received this letter .

Wednesday – Burton had handball before school this morning so Jenson and I took Copper for a walk in the fields behind school.

Thursday – Jenson did well in swimming last week and swam inn the deep end doing back stroke to get his 25m award! we collected his certificate tonight (after having to pay £3.50!!!)

Friday – we went to Prezzo for tea tonight as part of a Britmums review. It was a delicious meal and it was lovely to eat out as a family (and not in a camper van LOL!).

Saturday – we didn’t do much today but did manage to go for a lovely walk.

That letter is so lovely! Burton will be very good at handball starting to play at such a young age. My son started to play this year and his school team made it to the regional finals 🙂 Well done to Jenson on his swimming!

  3. Way go to Jenson on his swimming award. I love that photo of Burton at school, how sweet is that. Handball sounds exciting and I love the outdoors photos. Jenson I feel has changed so much recently. Gorgeous photos of a lovely week x

  4. Love Burton’s letter – nice to have your cooking skills appreciated by a younger audience as well as your blog readers. Well done to Jenson.

  5. Ooh that’s an eerie looking sky! Love Burton’s handwriting – very neat. I don’t miss the days of certificates and badges every term for an additional few quid every time!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, a virtual cup of tea and slice of cake awaits you x
