  1. As always Jenny you have baked yet another fabulous cake. I’ve entered the giveaway with my Chocolatey Easter Cupcakes, and I have my fingers crossed as the prize is amazing. Thanks for hosting. 🙂 xx

  2. I love your cake! I don’t think I could come up with anything worthy of being judged by Mary Berry herself but might be able to persuade my son to help me bake something – he doesn’t get nervous and flustered with baking like i do! Happy Easter xxx

Your cake is fabulous and so is the giveaway prize! I will be popping over to Facebook and linking my Double Chocolate Pavlova I made as our Easter pud. 🙂

I’m obsessed with mini eggs so your cake is perfect! I’d love to try making the nest it looks quite fiddly. Did it hold it’s shape well?

    • thank you I think I have a mini egg obsession too 😉
the nest was easy to make – I lined a 6 inch loose bottomed cake tin and then filled it with the mixture. Then I placed an egg cup in the middle and pushed down slightly to make an indent for the eggs to shut in. Obviously, if this was not sitting on a cake I would have made it bigger in an 8 inch tin maybe? I have done something similar for a cheesecake base which is on here (white chocolate and mini egg cheesecake recipe), and that was fab too x

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, a virtual cup of tea and slice of cake awaits you x
