It is scary to think that tomorrow nights GBBO is the quarter finals already! Thai series has whizzed past and it is so bitter sweet given that it is all change next year 🙁
Anyway, back to last weeks Great Bloggers Bake Off recipes – thank you to all of you who joined in for Dessert Week. The categories were:

There were some wonderful bakes linked up again, and it is not time for me to reveal my Star Bakers.
Roulade
Oh my goodness the flavours thats were linked up were so delicious looking and sounding. It is swell I do not get to eat a slice of each – because although I would be in dessert heaven, I dread to think how many pounds I would gain in weight! I am going with a roulade that just looks especially tempting to eat – this Autumnal Caramel Apple Roulade from Lucy
Marjolaine
Only two of you were brave enough to tackle this bake set by Mary Berry, and it did sound delicious but I must admit I am not fond of things that are a bit of a faff to make, and this seems very much one of those things! Both Marjolaine’s looked stunning, and I think both ladies could equally have taken the lead isn this had they made it on the GBBO. However, I am going to award Star Baker to Gina because her bake did include the dash of green colour supplied by pistachios.
Mousse Cakes
There were also some very pretty and tasty sounding mousse cakes made by you, aswell as a luscious prosecco jelly! Now I have to mention these very pretty and ornate Mini Genoise Mousse Cakes which came a very close second place – the floral chocolate collars made such a gorgeous finish to these fruity mousse cakes. However, I am choosing these Triple Chocolate Mousse Cakes because they contain 3 different mousses and each layer is just perfectly positioned and made.
