I do love stir fries because asides from taking next to no time to cook and get on a plate to eat, I enjoy the fact that I can us so many different vegetables in them. I guess I eat a stir fry at least once a week and to be honest the majority of them are vegetarian as it gives me a chance to raid my fridge and use up what I have.
I also like to vary what I serve alongside my stir fry : sometimes I have rice, other times I have noodles and sometimes I just have the stir fried veg and that is it! However, recently I have been making myself cauliflower rice. Now I am well aware that this is not a new food idea, but it is for me as I only started making it recently, due to me now owning a food processor which makes blitzing a cauliflower much easier than grating one by hand!
Anyway, I digressed, as normal! I was recently sent some stir fry sauces to try from
Kwan’s Kitchen, who pride themselves on making restaurant quality stir fry meal kits, the first of their kind in Europe .
These kits are very easy to use with clear step by step directions on the back of each kit. The Sweet Chili kit which I am using in this post, contained 3 items: spices, sesame seeds and a sweet chili sauce.
In less than 10 minutes you have an authentic tasting Chinese stir fry, which tastes as good as it smells and looks.
Cauliflower rice is of course optional, as actual rice or noodles would complement this meal perfectly too.
