Cork: The Festival Capital of Ireland

Damhsafest is a festival dedicated to folk dancing, and scheduled for the 28th June until the 4th July. If you would like to appreciate some traditional Irish dancing, and more, you can with this festival. It doesn’t just run in the city of Cork either; it’s throughout the county.

The Decades festival takes place in various venues throughout the city, and offers visitors a unique, and fun, experience to remember. Each venue chooses a decade, and everyone dresses up for an awesome time. It usually runs at the end of August, so keep your eyes peeled for more information.

Cork Jazz Festival will be running from the 24th to the 27th October, and while the line-up hasn’t been announced yet, if last year is anything to go by, it’ll be amazing.
