  1. This looks like fun, my kids would love this! We love going to any National Trust park, but we don’t have membership yet. But I am tempted. 🙂 I found your blog via country kids, looking forward to reading more! 🙂

  2. How amazing that we were both doing the same thing this week! I loved seeing how excited the kids were to see tadpoles swimming about. Looks like an amazing resource on your doorstep & I agree children are so much happier outside & it’s less stressful for the adults. Thanks for your support.

  3. The NT 50 things list is a great incentive to get families out and having fun outdoors! It looks like the boys enjoyed discovering the pond life and the space to explore and have fun together. Thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.

  4. This post captures my heart!!! I was fascinated by pond dipping as a child – you never knew what you would find. We had a pond in the backyard and I would spend hours fishing out anything I could get my little hands on. It was in Southwest Michigan, my favorite finds were tadpoles and eastern newts too. It appears you found both above. Now we are in South Florida – I can only imagine the differences in the pond finds! Thank you so much for the share and bringing back some very fond memories!
