  1. that chocolate icing does really look like chocolate, I thought it was covered in melted chocolate! So, did the boys eat the cake or just fight you for the mini eggs?

  2. This looks amazing! So so pretty and I love the hidden surprise. Amy would love that! I love the idea of balancing out the sweetness of the mini eggs with the coffee flavour too. Yummy!

  3. oh hummana hummana hummana. Please marry me. Please move in and make cakes for me on a regular basis.

THis looks stunning. and as a fan of Baileys that little green jar of coffee might have just fallen into my trolley in Sainsburys earlier this week. Ahem

  4. oooh Jenny, that looks AMAZING! I made a pinata giant cupcake recently, but my chocolate buttons melted cause I didn’t let it cool enough. I am too impatient to be a baker!

  5. I’ve been searching for ideas for a dessert for Easter and now I’ve found it. I love the idea of this cake. Thanks for the inspiration. I’ve pinned to my Easter board #FoodieTuesday

  6. This is fantastic! There’s oodles of mini eggs in there – I’m off to my sisters on Sunday and have a feeling I might be taking a piñata cake with me! Thanks so much for linking up with #Bakeoftheweek again. HX

  7. Mini eggs are my favourite too, I was so relieved that I could buy them here 🙂 This cake looks wonderful, having said I was doing no more baking for awhile… we do have a party to go to on Easter Sunday…. Hmmm! Have pinned 🙂
